Well, it has finally come to that. After 7 years, I think it is time to move on. The company I work for is not doing so well and many people's paychecks are bouncing (thankfully, not mine...yet!). I really like my job and love the people I work with, but I feel like I need to make a move now before the ball drops and forces me to find a new job. All I can say is that Medicare is a bad word and being under review by Medicare for the last year is another bad word. Since Kelly is one of the few who reads this, she might understand what I am saying here. It's been tough and I have tried to hang on, but my grip is slipping. So, wish me luck with my interview tomorrow!
What do you think the odds are that my boss is reading this?

It's Over
Well, we survived yet another holiday season. Although it is wonderful to spend time with our families and to get time away from the mundane, I am such a creature of habit and have been craving everyday, normal life. Even if that means a full work week.
Christmas was great. The boys both really were excited for Santa to come this year. My brother, Matt, and his family were in town and the boys loved playing with their cousins, Ben and Ryann, or as Max so affectionately calls her "Wy Wy". Those two were quite smitten with eachother. Pictures to come. We pulled up to my parents' house this morning and Max exclaimed, "Wy Wy". Little did he know that Wy Wy was on her way back to Colorado. Poor guy.
We had a wonderful 2007 and look forward to more to come in 2008. At his age, Max has had many "firsts", and Will amazes me daily with the things he has learned. They are growing up way to fast. Although daily life is a challenge with two young boys, I wouldn't change a thing in our crazy life. I am truly blessed. Which brings me to my new favorite saying, "Give me patience for my blessings".
Happy New Year!
